American television host Megyn Kelly has ripped into the Kardashians and their ‘disgusting vanity’ branding the reality stars a ‘force for evil’.

The presenter didn’t hold back her dislike of the family during a recent episode of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, arguing that their ‘self-promotion’ and ‘out of control focus on oneself’ has had a hugely negative impact on society.

‘They didn’t do it by themselves, but more than any other, they’ve had a terrible effect in that lane, and I do blame them,’ Kelly slammed.

She then went on to recall an interview with the family where she asked them: ‘Are you a force for good or a force for evil?’

‘And they gave me their answer, but the more I’ve watched them over the years, the more I think that net, it’s evil,’ she said.

Kelly continued: ‘I don’t think this is healthy and that’s what I object to is like their disgusting vanity, which has spread like wildfire in our society.

‘The selfie culture is abhorrent to me. I think that’s what I’m responding to as opposed to some titillation from a beautiful woman here and there.’

Kelly welcomed Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kris Jenner onto the Today show in 2018 to chat about the 10th anniversary of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

When Kelly asked the family whether they were a force for evil, Kim responded: ‘I think we’ve honestly through our show — we’ve shown so much more positive things.

‘The amount of feedback we get even from Kendall and Kylie’s dad transitioning and people now knowing how to handle that or how to deal with that. They only want to focus on “Oh they’re superficial, oh they’re wearing makeup”.’
