Dutse Emirate Council collects Zakat items worth over N300m

The Dutse Emirate Council in Jigawa State has, as part of its preparation for the 2023 Ramadan, collected food items which were shared to the less privileged in the emirate.
According to the Islamic scholars Zakat is one of the Islamic pillars which can be collected from the rich and given to the Poor and vulnerable.
The Dutse Emirate Council is an exemplary palace on it efforts of Gathering huge amount of Zakat Items and Funds.
On Tuesday 14 March 2023,the palace under the leadership of His Royal Highness The Emir of Dutse Alhaji Muhammad Hameem Nuhu Sunusi has lunched the distribution of Zakat Items including Farm product worth three hundred and fifty nine million Naira.
During the event, the Emir called on the Islamic scholars to continue guiding the Emirate Council to achieve more success on Zakat as
